The story of HOBC Constructions

Established in 1996 after the two founders, Pat Kelly and Tony Gallagher, met at University of NSW whilst both undertaking Bachelor of Building degrees. With their combined backgrounds of carpentry/construction supervision and real estate, they recognised they had the makings of a successful business.

HOBC introduced its services to real estate agents across Sydney, offering building and pest inspections to be conducted prior to auction.

Delighted with professionally written detailed reports and friendly manner, successful buyers approached HOBC to carry out renovations and from there, the success of HOBC grew, almost purely through word of mouth. Clients also discovered HOBC through interior designers and the Masters Builders Association of Australia.
